Sport Service Centre
The centre is a municipal establishment that is responsible for organising sports events and competitions, co-ordinating activities of sports establishments, sports clubs and associations in the city, as well as management of municipal sports centres and the attraction of investment for their development and expansion.
The centre also manages two sports halls - in 6 Raiņa Street and 44a Mātera Street.

Zemgale Olympic Centre
Zemgale Olympic Centre was founded in 2003 with the aim to ensure the development of sports centres in the region and sportsmen training for the Olympic Games. At the moment ZOC implements swimming, rowing, kayaking and canoeing, judo, BMX, and track and field athletics programmes. ZOC intends to harmoniously develop olympic, folk, children and youth sports.
On October 26, 2006 Jelgava City Council adopted a decision to construct multifunctional sports complex. It was completed in 2010 and now is the place for main sports events in the city and region.

Jelgava Children and Youth Sports School
Sports School was founded on October 1, 1954. At the moment there are about 630 children training in the 46 groups. There are 19 teachers working in the sports school. In summer training camps are organised for the students - basketball players, kayak and canoe rowers, academic rowers, judoka, and track and field athletes.

Jelgava Specialized Swimming School
Trainings take place in the swimming pool of LLU Sports Hall, 1 Raiņa Street and in the swimming pool of Jelgava Secondary School Nr. 6, 29 Loka maģistrāle. Citizens can also visit these swimming pools for regular training or free-time activity.
